Our Prep 16 Floor Surface Preparer is designed for surfacing concrete floors, restoring or preparing wood decks and hardwood floors.
The Prep 16 is a revolutionary new tool in floor preparation. More than just a sander, the Prep 16 helps bring new life to concrete surfaces, decks and hardwood floors. It's powerful enough for demanding industrial jobs, yet light and simple enough for home use. And the unique design works to provide superior results with minimum effort. So not only will you be sanding like a pro in just a few minutes, you'll be finished just as quickly.
The Prep 16 is great at sanding and scarifying concrete floors. You can remove years of wear from just about any concrete surface. The exclusive Red Diamond Concrete Plates are embedded with a coarse diamond grit that will quickly ready your floor for any coating application. And if your concrete floor has a coating that doesn't require removal, the plates will abrade the surface and remove the gloss. When fitted with our powerful Carbide Scarifier Attachments, the Prep 16 helps remove most coatings and hard, brittle adhesives.
The Prep 16 is a great tool to use when you are refinishing, renovating or rejuvenating wood floors. It is light, agile and easy to maneuver, the machine is the perfect partner when it comes to restoring or prepping interior hardwood floors. When using the vacuum attachment, the Prep 16 operates virtually dust-free, making it ideal for interior applications.
Whether you're restoring an old deck to its former beauty or preparing a new deck for summer fun, the Prep 16 is the right tool for the job. It will help you sand, renovate and refinish your deck faster and easier.
The Prep 16 features a unique belt driven, three-head system that allows smooth operation and superior results. The three-head system features a counter-rotating head that makes this machine easy to operate and control with no sliding.
The machine operates at 1760 RPM and is recommended for concrete or wood.
The Prep 16 is equipped with 6" transport wheels, an additional removable weight, a vacuum port and a bottom dust skirt that contains dust during operation. A vacuum and hose is included when used for dry applications.
