Most floor sanders which operate at high speed and are in constant contact with the floor. Our floor sander operates at a slow (1800 RPM) constant speed and is designed so the drum is off the floor when not sanding. This prevents gouging of your floors. The drum will not slow down or speed up as it sands, resulting in a level, smooth finish without waves.
The tilt action of our rental floor sander allows for more controlled and even sanding. When you sand forward and backward as you refinish your floors, you can be assured of straight sanding because it runs on the drum and wheels Our motor runs on 14 amps (standard household current).
