Our standard electric jackhammer is good for breaking up concrete up to 4" thick, which is most residential concrete projects.If you are breaking up thicker concrete, such as a commercial or industrial application, we recommend either the Heavy Duty electric jackhammer or the 90# air jackhammer.
If you are breaking up solid pour concrete steps, you will want the 90# air jackhammer.
The standard duty electric jackhammer hits with 43 lbs of force at 1400 blow per minute. It runs off a standard 15 amp, 110 volt outlet (regular wall plug) and can be run off a 2500 watt generator.
The jackhammer goes out with 2 points and 2 chisels, which are charged separately. On return you will be credited for any unused points or chisels. Additional points and chisels are available. We also offer asphalt chisels for rent.
