The 2" trash pump will move roughly 1/2 the capacity of our 3" trash pump.Commonly used in locations where there is considerable water to be moved and the suction hose will remain submerged at all times such as ponds, pools or flooded areas.
These pumps are great at emptying water from a flooded basement and they are designed to pump large amounts of water that may contain suspended hard and soft solids such as mud, leaves, twigs, sand, and sludge.
Trash pumps will not operate properly if all suction connections are not air tight or if the end of the suction hose is not fully submerged in water.
Our pumps can move hundreds of gallons per minute and are portable, heavy-duty centrifugal pumps that feature deeper impeller vanes and larger discharge openings than other pumps.
The maximum lift is 20' and the maximum head (suction and discharge hose) is 100'. Maximum flow is 200 gpm but more hose means less flow!
Please note that all of our pump hoses use quick connect fittings (aka Camlocks) which will not work with screw together fittings.
This is a gasoline powered pump and should not be used indoors
