Additional InformationAn outrigger is a triangular bracket that clamps to the bottom of a scaffold tower or system to increase the base width, in order to increase the stability of the tower.
Scaffolding may height may not exceed three times its narrowest dimension, so an outrigger will widen that dimension, making the scaffold more stable and allow you to go higher.
Two built-in clamps allow you to clamp the scaffold outrigger to the base tube of the scaffold and the end has a tube that will accept either a level jack or caster wheel.
If you have the option to drill into the surface you are working on, tie bars may be a better choice.
Due to insurance requirements, we can only allow our scaffolding components to be used with our scaffolding. We must rent out the whole scaffolding package, we cannot rent just parts of it.
