Generators come in handy for all types of power needs ranging from a power outage to working in a location with no power. Our generators are used on construction sites, on boats, in the fields at orchards, for camping trips and even for tailgating in Foxboro.This generator is designed for a peak load of 6500 watts and a running load of 5500 watts. It does not include a power inverter so it is not recommended for anything electronic such as a computer or television.
This generator weighs about 250 pounds when fueled, You will want two (or three) people to help load or unload and a set of ramps will make it much easier.
It's important to remember when planning your power needs that electric motors typically require 50% more power to start than they do to run, so a saw that needs 1000 watts to cut most likely needs 1500 watts to get running. This also holds true for pumps. refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners.
